Dr. Robert S. Kagan attended the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana for his undergraduate and medical studies. He then completed 5 years of surgical training at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He received his plastic and reconstructed surgical training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Kagan is Board certified both, in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery, and in Plastic Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Kagan is steadfast in the pursuit of his continued education and regularly attends medical conferences nationwide. Dr. Kagan is also an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons contributing his time and expertise on various committees for the advancement of plastic surgery.
